We began working with Dino and Vania of Divano Homes the moment we closed on our new home in West Vancouver. In fact, at key turnover, the crew showed up ready to start demo.
The house had its challenges - it was 113 years old with several previous renovations to work around, and a short timeline in which we wanted to complete our very expansive renovation project. “No problem”, was Dino’s response, and continued to be his response time and time again. Because Dino can do anything.
From day one, Dino and his incredible, meticulous and hardworking team left no stone unturned.
Dino looked at every detail for our home as if it was his own. He offered suggestions, improvements, identified potential challenges that were previously overseen and made executive decisions on our behalf - seamlessly.
We trusted every decision and suggestion Dino made. He took the time to explain his rational, provide cost and product choices, manage various trades and schedules - and involve us in every step of the way.
Dino and his team worked tirelessly, always with a smile and time to explain what they were doing - and show us around the progress. We had daily progress updates, letting us know where things were at and what was coming up next.

Dino was, at all times, the consummate professional. He communicated well and kept us constantly informed. We always felt like we were in the best of hands. And we were!

We worked with Divano Homes in 2015 to build a custom home in Burnaby and moved into our beautiful custom home in early 2016. Our family thoroughly enjoyed working with the team at Divano Homes.
If you are considering building a custom home, you need to meet with them. We feel lucky to have met them and to have had the opportunity to work with them.
We lived in the same house for nearly 15 years and we had spent a lot of time thinking about what we wanted in a new home. This was our first (and probably last) custom home, and we wanted to get it right. Their experienced team was involved right from the start, from initial consultations, to design, and ultimately construction.
It is hard to put into words, but their Principal, Dino, has a great attention to detail and he has very high standards.
These are important attributes for a custom builder to have. We felt all throughout the process that Dino really had our best interests in mind and that he did his absolute best to make sure we got everything we wanted. Dino was able to help us through some major decisions and he gave us very practical advice that was a great help to us.
Dino is a great communicator and follows through on his commitments. We did not have a lot of experience with building, but he spent time explaining the process and explained all the major decisions. He gave our new home project a lot of his time and attention. He is extremely organized and makes great use of your time as a homeowner. We would recommend Divano Homes without any hesitation and if we ever have the opportunity to build a custom home again, we would love to work with Divano Homes.

I first met Dino, the principal of Divano Homes, in 2012 when he was recommended as a great home builder to hire for building my new home.
After receiving a very competitive quote and having all of my questions answered to my satisfaction, I decided to proceed with them for my project.
This project included a 3,250 sq. ft. high-end modern home with separate basement suite and laneway house. My home was completed on time and on budget, other than the few upgrades I requested outside the scope of the initial quote. They were very transparent with me throughout the entire process, a pleasure to work with and has a keen eye for quality and craftsmanship. Since then I have hired Divano to complete several more home renovation projects that turned out amazing!
